Hi all,

I am going to see this consultant for top surgery at St Georges in Tooting, London.
I was sent a letter from CharingX to ring the hospital for an appointment with a consultant - her.

I've made the appointment but cannot find a single reference to her in regards to top surgery or ftm surgery.

Has anyone dealt with her or gotten referred to her?

Her name is Catherine Milroy.

cheers, Tom

Re: ms milroy

Hi there Nae,

There isn't much info on her out there - that's because she does NHS work so she does not have a website or pictures / info per se.

I've had a good experience with her, friendly and professional during the consults.
I was C / D and she chose to give me peri-areolar surgery which surprised me as I thought I would need DI a la Dai Davis.
The surgery went well with no complications.
I stayed in hospital for around 4 days I think - until my drains were under 30ml.

My body doesn't like the sutures used though, so I am still having the odd weeping spot around my areoloar as it continues to work its way out.
I'm happy with the results but due to my age and the size of the chest before surgery, I definitely need revision to remove spare skin at the bottom of my pecs.

I've chosed to wait another 3 months for revision as I want my body to take enough time to heal properly before I undergo another procedure. Revision is a day procedure so you don't have to stay in hospital overnight.

I posted info and pics on FTM-UK.

cheers, Tom
